Dust Collection Update

It was one year ago that I converted my single stage dust collector into a two stage system. In this video I share the final tweaks and changes to my dust collection system.

Find out some of the things I did that worked, and did not work, as I modified my dust collector.

I hope that by sharing my experience, others will find it helpful as they make decisions for their own dust collection system.

I am not affiliated with or compensated in any way by Oneida, I simply like the product and am providing this link for your convenience to see the Super Dust Deputy that I purchased. Click here to see the Super Dust Deputy that I purchased at Oneida's site. At the time of this posting, it appears that the unit I purchased actually is $20 cheaper than what I paid originally.

Super Dust Deputy: Initial Review

I recently converted my single stage dust collector into a 2-stage system using the Super Dust Deputy by Oneida.

In this video I share my initial impressions and performance of the system.

I do not cover all the modifications although you see the overall setup and I give a basic price breakdown of the cost. I will cover the specifics of my conversion in the future.

If you have been thinking of getting a Super Dust Deputy to convert your single stage DC into a 2-stage system, but are on a budget, you might find this helpful.

Reinforced Mounting Lid For The Dust Deputy

Since I did the Dust Deputy Review in Episode 27, I have been getting questions and have decided to answer them publicly with a video so everyone may benefit from the answers.

In this video I show how I reinforced the 5 gallon bucket lid that I mounted the Dust Deputy to.

In Episode 28 I gave information to help the woodworkers decide which shop vacuum size might be the best to use with the Dust Deputy.

Here are the last 2 videos:

Episode 27: Dust Deputy Review

Episode 28: Choosing A Vac For The Dust Deputy

I hope you enjoy and find it informative.
